Please note, Stony Brook Manhattan has two entrances:
One at 401 Park Avenue South (28th Street) and one at 110 East 28th Street. Please use the entrance at at 401 Park Avenue South (between 27th and 28th Streets) on Friday, March 28th and the entrance at 110 East 28th Street, between Park Ave. South and Lexington Ave (directly beneath the large blue Stony Brook Manhattan banner) on Saturday, March 29th.

By Plane

John F. Kennedy International Airport
A taxi is the easiest, most convenient way to the campus and will cost $45.00 (flat rate plus tolls and a few dollars complimentary tip). The New York Airport Service is also available to Grand Central Station. Buses depart every half-hour. The fair is $15.00 and no advance reservations are necessary. From Grand Central take a taxi or subway (See subway info below).
Fiorello H. Laguardia Airport
A taxi is the easiest, most convenient way to the campus, and will cost approximately $25.00 - $35.00 (plus a few dollars complimentary tip). The New York Airport Service is also available. The fare is approximately $12.00. Buses depart every half-hour and no advance reservations are required. From Grand Central take a taxi or subway (See subway information).
Newark Liberty International Airport
Olympia Trails operates a bus service from the Ground Transportation Information Booth at Newark Airport. The fare is $13.00 and no advance reservations are necessary. For more information on this service call Olympia Trails at (877) 863-9275. Limo and taxi services are also available for approximately $50.00 (plus a few dollars complimentary tip).

By Train or Bus

Two major railroad stations (Pennsylvania and Grand Central) and one major bus terminal (Port Authority) serve New York City. Train and bus services include Amtrak, Metro-North, Long Island Railroad, Greyhound, Trailways, New Jersey Transit and PATH (see note*). All three terminals provide easy access to Stony Brook Manhattan via public transportation (see subway information). Taxi service from any of these locations is easiest and cost approximately $7.00 - $10.00.
* NOTE: PATH trains from New Jersey stop at 14th Street and 6th Avenue
