Keynote
The Masters in Philosophy and the Arts Program at Stony Brook University in Manhattan is pleased to present Rosalind Krauss, acclaimed American art critic and Columbia University professor, as the keynote speaker for our first annual conference: “veils.”
Dr. Krauss has her PhD from the Department of Fine Arts at Harvard University. She has written for Art International and Artforum International, and is the co-founder and editor of the journal October. Her work spans a myriad of artists and philosophers, and her professional career has earned international recognition in academia, as well as art journals and museums.
We are pleased to host Dr. Krauss on Friday, March 28, when she will give her keynote address, titled “The Parergon’s Veil.”
